Qigong Self-Care in the Year of the Fire Horse
The Year of the Fire Horse (February 17, 2026 – February 5, 2027) is a rare, high-intensity, and volatile year occurring every 60 years, characterized by rapid changes, breakthroughs, and potential burnout. It is considered a time of “reckoning” that demands high energy management and, for many, a shift toward a more sustainable, grounded pace.
Optimize your capacity to safely navigate a highly charged environment. With routines to counter stress and burnout, protect the heart/Shen, build energy, and calm the nervous system… Align and integrate the three Dantian energy bodies, to forge our inner flame and ride lightly through a time of accelerated potential and progression.

Live Online TUES Evening, June 23 – July 14, 2026, 7:00-8:00 PM, EST
The fire element governs the heart and nervous system, which can become easily stressed, causing anxiety or insomnia. The body needs to cool in order to reduce nervous tension and excessive thinking. Movement harmonized with breath can relieve the stagnation of Qi, which can cause fluid retention and inflammation. The Shen Spirit of the heart needs to be anchored to the earth, to avoid high-energy burnout.

Live Online TUESDAY Evening, August 04 – Sept. 01, 2026, 7:00-8:00 PM, EST
The practice helps to channel the highly energized environment, without causing exhaustion. Breath techniques can regulate the nervous system and counter the frantic pace of our current moment in time. Self-Care routines and medical Qigong can can decrease the load of what ever we bring into this year, helping to facilitate detoxification, and allowing the rest and recovery of the body’s organs, glands and circulatory systems. Self-applied massage and acupressure helps to tweak those individual tweaks hidden within our body’s energetic system.
For example, the Willow Tree practice allows us to remain flexible, rather than breaking under pressure
Forge our Inner Flame: Maximize our capacity to align and integrate, the three Dan Tian energy bodies, within the Year of the Fire Horse, a time of accelerated potential and progression.

Featuring ROUTINES to counter INFLAMMATION:
Your lymphatic system is a group of organs, vessels and tissues that protect you from infection and keep a healthy balance of fluids throughout your body. Lymphatic system organs include your bone marrow, thymus and lymph nodes. Swollen lymph nodes are a sign of common infections, like strep throat, but also more serious diseases like cancer.

Your lymphatic system protects you from infection and destroys old or abnormal cells your body doesn’t need. Lymphatic system functions also include maintaining normal fluid levels in your body and absorbing fats and fat-soluble vitamins so they can make their way into your bloodstream.
